The first CD in the series Lullaby World is available to listen to and download.
This unique, carefully chosen collection of European lullabies, individually arranged and beautifully interpreted, keep the essence of their cultural origins. Relaxing and musically satisfying for all ages. All the lyrics are now available in their original languages with translations in English.
We've started with lullabies from Europe because the languages are most familiar to us. Our family is scattered far and wide and between us we speak more than seven languages. English translations are available for all the lullabies. The Lullaby World team is Cathy Brown, John Seidel and Susanna Bearfoot. Cathy, Susanna's daughter, is a well known singer on the Côte d'Azur where she lives, in the principality of Monaco. John, Cathy's life partner, is best known for his long career as a top acrobat. His unique hand-balancing act won him a Silver Clown at the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, among other awards. He is also a musician whose guitar can be heard on many of the lullabies. John has arranged and engineered most of the tracks, as well as providing a number of the translations. Other translations were provided by Dr. Ben Fowkes and Maja Fowkes.
